FundWorks’ Professional Services team is ideally suited to carry out the implementation of our solutions, ensuring a smooth process and maximum return on your IT investment.

Designed and executed by expert project managers and consultants, the process is typified by our Best-Practice Implementation Framework. The framework is built around 7 stages, each delivering an array of signed-off documentation, ensuring sure-footed progress and facilitating further enhancements and support.

Analyse

The analysis phase is a pre-requisite for the project to start. Although it is not the first phase of the project, it is vital to ensure that the client and FundWorks are clear on project deliverables, costs and timeframes. The deliverable of this phase is the High Level Analysis Documentation (HLA).

Plan

A Project Definition Document (PDD), which outlines how the project will proceed throughout its life, will be initialised. The project team will draw and agree project plans with the client, and put in place the monitoring platforms and procedures which will drive the project onwards.

Design

Further work will be undertaken to ensure that the requirements are presented in a format that is quickly and easily developed. This work will lead to the authoring of a High-Level Design (HLD) document for each individual HLA item.

Implement

A number of Detailed Design Specification (DDS) documents will be authored, containing sufficient detail for implementation by a technical resource and, on completion of the project, will facilitate effective client support. Based on these documents, core implementation will be carried out, including installation, customisation and bespoke development.

Test

After internal testing is complete, a User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase will commence. Any issues and enhancements that arise will be logged, prioritised and dealt with in close consultation with the client.

Go Live

When the UAT is signed-off, the system will be ready for Go Live in a production environment, including all custom requirements and enhancements.

Close

Following a successful implementation, teams will convene to discuss and agree on a Lessons Learnt document reviewing project outcome, process as well as future enhancements to the newly launched platform.
